...and the inner strength you have in you. Well that sentence I quoted from none other than Proton Persona – Better Undoubtedly ambassador, DJ Lin. She had the opportunity to mentor 3 single mothers and one of them is Norasikin Ma’akim. She is one woman who would like to achieve a lot of things in life but lack of motivation and self confidence. One thing that she has in common with DJ Lin is that Norasikin is into broadcasting and wants to expand her knowledge and gain experience from it.

In this programme, she had the chance to learn all about broadcasting by being an intern at Suria FM for 2 months. She was exposed to public speaking via the cruiser exercise and of course the best part she got to meet other famous djs and celebrities. One of the challenges that she had to face is to go to work by bus which usually take her an hour to reach and to prepare her kids for school before that. Can you imagine how tiring is that? One hour in a bus? And she also tapau her food from home because its way too expensive to eat out L Kesiannya. Gosh, now I rasa insaf kejap sebab selalu makan main2 and tak habis.

Even though she had to face all this challenges, she did not give up and she had gained a lot of confidence. She was also surprised with the lovely and relax working environment around the radio station. She never thought and imagine being a dj but with this program she successfully co-host Suria Cinta together with Dj Lin. A thing that she never thought she could do but she managed to :')

DJ Lin also commented that Norasikin looks so different since the first time they met in Ibunda. Norasikin looks more cheerful and full with enthusiasm and more confident with herself. Well I guess if you want something, yes you have to work for it. Things don’t come to us easily but we all shall work for it. And don’t let your mind control your action. Be open and don’t under estimate ourserlves. Sometimes we all be ssurprised with our credibility. And to be around positive people and getting support from them, that plays an important role too.
